The sub-fund invests primarily in a diversified portfolio of shares and/or transferable securities issued by companies incorporated, quoted or traded in any country and active in the real estate segment. The sub-fund's benchmark is the S&P/Citigroup World Property Index.
Portfolio manager: Thomas Ritson Ferguson
Thomas provides oversight of Clarion’s operations, shares responsibility for the day-to-day management of the portfolios and is a member of the Investment Policy Committee. Previously with Radnor Advisors and Trammell Crow Company, he gained extensive direct real estate investment experience in all facets of the analysis, acquisition and management of commercial real estate. Mr. Ferguson was formerly with Bain & Company as a consultant and served as a captain in the U.S. Air Force as a computer scientist. Mr. Ferguson is an honors MBA graduate of Wharton (University of Pennsylvania) and holds a B.S. from Duke University (summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa). He is a member of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts and its Institutional Investor Committee; the Financial Analysts of Philadelphia; and the Association for Investment Management and Research.
